Her project stems from a family history that is almost a century long and translates into unique olfactory collections, made entirely in Italy, with care, passion and a spirit of research. Cristiana has inherited not only ancient formulas but also a philosophy: that of creating perfumes that do not follow fashions, but tell an identity. Each fragrance is an authentic gesture, a sensory journey that comes from memory, nature, emotions.
The Origins
The Cristiana Bellodi brand has its roots in a story that began in 1925. Carolina Mussi Serrati – Cristiana's paternal grandmother – met Gabriele d'Annunzio during a concert at the Teatro Grande in Brescia.
In the secret heart of the Vittoriale, the Poet accompanies Carolina to the Laghetto delle Danze: a body of water in the shape of a violin, where two streams meet – the Acqua Pazza and the Acqua Savia.
It is there that d'Annunzio picks up a bunch of daffodils and gives them to Carolina. A simple gesture, which marks the beginning of a deep bond.
Inspired by that meeting and that place, Carolina creates her first fragrance: Assoluta di Acqua Savia. A dedication to the Poet, a tribute to friendship, a creative act from which a tradition is born – alive, changing, authentic.
Since then, artisanal perfumery techniques have been preserved and handed down for generations: distillations with ancient family stills, long maceration times, natural raw materials and manual processes.
Memory becomes a project
In 2014, Cristiana took up the family legacy, relaunching the project with a new look. After years of research, in 2016 the first collection of artistic fragrances was born: six eau de parfum, each linked to a letter of its name: CRIBEL.
A symbolic choice, the first step of an olfactory story. The subsequent fragrances complete his name and surname, becoming a manifesto of identity.
Welcomed with enthusiasm by those who recognize perfume as an art form, that first collection opened up new possibilities.
Thus the project expanded, without ever losing coherence.
Alongside personal fragrances, creations for the environment have been created, for
fabrics, for the home. Sprays, candles, essences for the washing machine: small daily rituals inspired by emotions, defined by quality.
Today Cristiana personally guides every phase of the process: from the formulation to the selection of materials, to the design of the packaging, handcrafted with natural elements – such as the oak cap and the hand-made boxes. Her olfactory signature is instantly recognizable.
